Nostalgia Trippin'

I took a trip down memory lane today when I decided to hit up Redner's Warehouse Market for some disgusting fast food. After perusing the local wine and spirits store and buying a bottle of the most disgusting Marsala I have ever tasted, I stumbled on over to Redner's for some grub. I loaded up--cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, mac n cheese, and more. And I made a beautiful revelation--apparently Redner's gets their food from the exact same source as public school cafeterias. As soon as I bit into that chicken sandwich, waves of nostalgia hit me. That delicious, over-breaded, under-meated, cardboardy delight. That distinct, semi-fluid but not-quite-nacho cheese on the burger. These weren't just similar in taste, but I swear to jesus america, the exact same menu items I purchased for eighty-five cents in high school. This isn't a bad thing, mind you. As much shit as I talk on it, nostalgia will be sure to lead me back in the very near future. All they need now is a plastic-cheese pizza and I'll never need to look for food again.
